An important role that the KCEDC staff plays is the part of an advocate.  By collaborating with business leaders, governement and the community, the KCEDC's primary goal is to promote healthy economic growth within Kendall County.  The EDC helps businesses, private investors and individuals looking to Kendall County for growth opportunities, understand the different processes and procedures.  We provide a link between the private and public sectors  that is essential to a successful project. The KCEDC has five "target" markets that we are actively pursuing for Kendall County.  The markets include:
