Existing Business & Industry Expansion
Our #1 target market is our own businesses and keeping them viable and growing. Local businesses are very important to the KCEDC. Our goal is to help in expansion in Kendall County and to work with the City and the County were applicable to help them continue to be prosperous.
Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is a prime example of the KCEDC helping existing businesses expand. KCEDC worked with AEC to obtain $1 million from Texas Enterprise Fund, the City of Boerne and Kendall County Tax Abatements.
KCEDC also worked with Matrix Imaging Solutions, which provides customized document processing and mailing, to obtain a 405SBA loan to purchase and expand to a new site in Kendall County.
The video below shows the AEC expansion announcement. Growth from the AEC expansion will bring an additional 330 jobs and a projected $41.6 million in investment capital to Kendall County.
