Alamo WorkSource
Alamo WorkSource, through the Business Services Group, brings business and job seekers together. They offer an array of services to help business save money, improve productivity and provide a competitive edge. This includes no-cost recruitment and screening services, information on tax incentive programs, labor market information, training and more. Services can be customized to meet your specific needs.
The Alamo Workforce Development Area (WDA) Includes Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson counties.
No matter what your industry, size or employee needs, the Business Services Group can help you hire qualified, motivated employees ready to work for you.

The Texas Workforce Commission
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is the state government agency charged with overseeing and providing workforce development services to employers and job seekers of Texas. For employers, TWC offers recruiting, retention, training and retraining, and outplacement services as well as valuable information on labor law and labor market statistics. For job seekers, TWC offers career development information, job search resources, training programs, and, as appropriate, unemployment benefits. While targeted populations receive intensive assistance to overcome barriers to employment all Texans can benefit from the services offered by TWC and our network of workforce partners.

The Skills Development Fund of the Texas Workforce Commission assists businesses and labor union by designing, financing and implementing job training programs in partnership with public community and technical colleges for new or existing jobs in local businesses. http://www.twc.state.tx.us/
San Antonio Small Business Development Center (SBDA)
Through the Institute for Economic Development, University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), the San Antonio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides consulting and technical assistance to the small business community. Their goal is to help small businesses start and grow. The SBDC program supports the growth and development of the South Texas economy by assisting in job creation, economic diversification, and business expansion.
