Comprehensive health care services are available in Kendall County. Boerne is home to dozens of primary and specialty care physicians, clinics and diagnostic laboratories. The city also has dentists who offer treatment in the areas of family, pediatric, orthodontic, periodontal, and cosmetic dentistry. A variety of health care alternatives are available, including chiropractic, acupuncture and more.

Kendall County EMS

Kendall County EMS is currently staffed by 13 full-time employees and many part-time to help cover the county's EMS needs. The 2007 call volume for the system was 2100+ responses.   For more information on their capabilities and community involvement click here.

Methodist Boerne Medical Center

In mid-July, 2006, Methodist Healthcare furthered its commitment to Boerne residents with the announcement of the design and development of the first-ever 24X7 freestanding Emergency Department in South and Central Texas.  The Emergency Department opened in January of 2008.   Methodist's original commitment was to build an $11 million medical office building.  The new 911 emergency facility will be just like having a Methodist Hospital Emergency Room in Boerne, offering a higher level of emergency care right in the neighborhood and offering the depth of resources of an acute care hospital for long-term illness or serious injury.
